OFFICIAL: Man Utd defender Tyrell Malacia joins PSV on loan
PSV Eindhoven have completed the signing of Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia on loan until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
The ex-Netherlands international has only made eight appearances for Man Utd since the beginning of last season due to a serious knee injury and he has now joined PSV on an initial loan deal.
The Eredivisie transfer window closed on 4 February, one day after the Premier League, and PSV have wrapped on a deal to sign Malacia on loan with an option to buy this summer.

Upon confirmation of his move to the club, Malacia told the PSV website: "I am happy to be here. Finally playing football again.
“I am coming back from a long injury, but I am now fit and know that my time will come again. In every difficult period there are also positive elements and in this case that is that I have become much stronger physically and mentally.
"I have more patience, am more mature, know my body better and things like that. I am ready to go and hopefully win several prizes with PSV."

Tyrell Malacia leaves Man Utd
Malacia has become the fifth and final player to leave Man Utd on loan during the winter transfer window, with Marcus Rashford (Aston Villa), Antony (Real Betis), Daniel Gore (Rotherham) and Ethan Wheatley (Walsall) also departing Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim’s side completed the permanent signings of Lecce star Patrick Dorgu for €30m and Arsenal wonderkid Ayden Heaven for a reported fee of €1.2m.
Malacia joined Man Utd from Feyenoord for €15m back in July 2022 and he has played 47 times in all competitions for the Red Devils.
The Dutchman’s current contract at Old Trafford is due to expire in 2026 and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €16.7m.
PSV are two points clear at the top of the Eredivisie table and Malacia is expected to provide serious competition for Mauro Junior at left-back.
