Liverpool blow Arsenal out of the water with Isak SWAP DEAL offer

Liverpool are ready to get serious about their pursuit of Alexander Isak and they could even look to offer up Darwin Nunez as part of the deal, according to a report.
As exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers in January, Liverpool are huge fans of Newcastle sharpshooter Isak and view him as the ideal striker for Arne Slot's system.
In fact, we understand that the Reds are the side best positioned to strike a deal for the Swede in the future despite heavy links to Arsenal, who also view him as a top target in addition to Benjamin Sesko.

In January and already in early December, we reported that Newcastle were pushing for Viktor Gyokeres amid concerns over Isak's future, although there is no guarantee that they will be able to land the Sporting CP man due to his desire to sign for a Champions League club.
Participation in Europe's premier competition will also influence what happens with Isak in the summer as it was claimed on Monday that Newcastle had already 'agreed' to sell him should they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Liverpool offer Isak swap
Regardless of whether that claim is accurate, it is clear that Isak will be one to watch in the summer window, according to transfer expert David Ornstein. Football Insider, meanwhile, asserts that Liverpool are getting serious about their pursuit of the 25-year-old and are exploring different formulas for a potential transfer.
Due to Newcastle's hefty valuation north of €100 million and their unwillingness to sell, Liverpool could look to sweeten the deal by including misfiring striker Darwin Nunez in the package, it is claimed.

Despite his disappointing time at Anfield, the Uruguay international is still held in high esteem and Newcastle's Saudi owners are known to be admirers of the 25-year-old.
The Saudi Public Investment Fund tried to sign Nunez for Al-Nassr in the first 20 or so days of the January window before Liverpool pulled the plug on the deal over fears of disrupting Slot's squad and the Riyadh side ultimately ended up landing Jhon Duran instead.
Nunez, who has notched three goals and one assist in four games against Newcastle, could be a viable striker solution for the Magpies should they fail to qualify for the Champions League and therefore run the risk of not only losing Isak but also of missing out on Gyokeres.
