Juventus have hatched an 'ambitious plan' to sign Victor Osimhen, with Italian media reporting that the club have already decided to sell Dusan Vlahovic.

The Nigerian superstar is still on the books at Napoli but is spending the season on loan at Galatasaray. The Turkish giants have had a €65 million bid to make his move permanent rebuffed earlier this week and are now trying to sign Alvaro Morata from AC Milan to compensate for Osimhen's inevitable summer exit.

The 26-year-old continues to be linked with a Premier League move to the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd and he will certainly be one of the hottest topics in the summer window.

However, Osimhen's future might not actually lie in England. He has occasionally been linked with a blockbuster move to Napoli's Serie A rivals Juventus and it seems that the Bianconeri really are determined to pull off this massive coup.

Juventus' 'ambitious' Osimhen plan

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is desperate to sign Osimhen again. He was the man who initially brought him to Napoli and now wants to sign him for the Old Lady.

In order to be able to do this, Juventus will have to offload current No.9 Dusan Vlahovic and the Italian outlet writes about him as if he were already as good as gone.

The seemingly inevitable sale of Vlahovic will free up the funds to sign Osimhen, although bringing him in could prove problematic due to his €75 million release clause, which is only valid for non-Italian clubs.

This means that Juventus will actually have to sit down and negotiate with their rivals and Napoli will certainly be loathe to lose an elite striker to the Bianconeri again. One needs only to recall the drama that ensued when Juventus poached Gonzalo Higuain in 2016.

Osimhen is actually on a smaller wage than Vlahovic, so he would fit Juventus' new transfer strategy and Giuntoli is 'obsessed' with the Nigerian.
