Victor Osimhen BOMBSHELL: Man Utd swap deal is 'complicated'

Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund, although a swap deal involving Victor Osimhen has been described as “complicated.”
Hojlund has struggled since his €73.9 million move to Old Trafford in 2023 and Ruben Amorim is eager to sign an adequate replacement during the upcoming summer transfer window in a bid to improve Man Utd’s fortunes.
The Denmark international is keen to fight for his place at the club, but Man Utd are reportedly “losing patience” with the 22-year-old and are fearful that his recent goal drought could complicate a potential summer sale.

Hojlund is without a goal in his last 16 appearances across all competitions and with Joshua Zirkzee also failing to impress, Man Utd are desperate to land a new centre forward this summer.
Osimhen is their priority target and the Red Devils are hoping to sell Hojlund in order to fund a move for the Nigeria superstar.

Despite Hojlund’s recent woes, Napoli are interested in signing him this summer, according to talkSPORT, although the Serie A giants are only willing to pay “a fraction” of the €73.9m fee it cost Man Utd to purchase him from Atalanta.
Furthermore, a swap deal involving Osimhen and Hojlund has been described as “complicated,” despite the fact that a transfer could suit all parties.

Ruben Amorim on Rasmus Hojlund
After Man Utd’s 2-1 win over Leicester City in the FA Cup in early February, Amorim was eager to remain positive, despite Hojlund’s recent struggles.
“He’s a character, players from that kind of character from that country, they always want more, they want to score, they feel the critics,” Amorim said. “It’s a good thing but he will improve.”
“A striker needs a very good team to deliver very good balls and we’re not helping our strikers at the moment.”
However, Man Utd are pushing to sign a new striker this summer and Hojlund is likely to either be sold or become a rotation option as a result.
