Isak 'pushing' for transfer after rejecting TWO offers

Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak is “pushing” to join Barcelona this summer, according to a sensational report in Spain.
The 25-year-old has been tipped to leave St James’ Park ahead of the 2025-26 campaign if Newcastle are unable to secure Champions League qualification and he is reportedly desperate to sign for Barcelona during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Newcastle are set to demand a transfer fee of at least €180 million to part ways with the Sweden international, which could prove problematic for cash-strapped Barcelona, but Isak is eager to join Hansi Flick’s side.

That is according to Spanish publication El Nacional, who claim that Isak has already rejected offers from both Arsenal and Manchester United as he is holding out for a summer move to Camp Nou.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta is reportedly “willing to do everything possible” to sign Isak, although Newcastle have no intention of reducing their asking price for the 25-year-old.
The Sweden star has emerged as Barcelona’s dream long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski and his desire to secure a Camp Nou has been identified as a “key factor in the operation.”

Alexander Isak to join Barcelona?
Isak has scored 22 goals and provided five assists in 31 matches across all competitions so far this season, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has risen sharply to a career peak of €76.7m.
Following the Sweden forward’s performance against Man Utd in late December, Jamie Carragher told Sky Sports: “He is the best striker in the Premier League right now, and he is, I don't think it's actually close right now, I think he's the real standout.”
In addition to Barcelona, Arsenal and Man Utd, Liverpool are also interested in signing Isak as they look to sign a replacement for Darwin Nunez this summer.
