Angel Gomes has made a HUGE transfer mistake

Angel Gomes has turned down a massive contract offer from West Ham United amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Lille midfielder is one of the most eligible players on the transfer market this summer, with his contract up with the Ligue 1 side at the end of the season. He will, therefore, be able to depart as a free agent.

Angel Gomes is already able to discuss terms with clubs in the Premier League, with reports indicating that he has knocked back an initial offer from West Ham that was worth €120,000 per week (£100,000).
Although Spurs and Man Utd hold an interest in the player, it would be a grave mistake if he were to turn down the Hammers and move to either of these clubs, according to data analytics experts SciSports.
West Ham is the perfect club for the 24-year-old to develop, according to the firm. Graham Potter’s side have been given a Club Fit score of 86 based on a variety of factors that include everything from potential development and playing time to style and formation.
The Hammers’ score is equal with Napoli and Everton as the best on offer for Gomes. It is rare to see a score just as high.
In particular, development and formation are ideal for him.

Spurs or Man Utd a major gamble for Angel
Bigger wages may well be on offer with Spurs or Man Utd, but the trade off is a far riskier move.
The Red Devils, for example, score only a 62. Ruben Amorim’s side rate poorly across the board when it comes to matching the key factors that have allowed Angel Gomes, who left the Old Trafford academy to get first-team exposure, to thrive in Lille.
There is a similar story at Tottenham. Ange Postecoglou’s side are a little better off with a Club Fit of 62, yet there is equally uncertainty over the future of the Aussie manager, further heightening the risk of moving to Spurs.
So while West Ham might not have the financial muscle of their rivals for Angel Gomes, there is little doubt that they would offer him the best opportunity to realise his potential and possibly even build for a bigger move down the line.
