Chelsea BLOCK two Raheem Sterling transfers

Chelsea have decided to sell Raheem Sterling on a permanent deal once his season-long loan spell at Arsenal draws to a close.
The former England international was frozen out by Enzo Maresca upon his appointment at Stamford Bridge last summer and he secured a reunion with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta on Transfer Deadline Day after the Gunners agreed to sign him on loan.

However, Sterling has endured a tricky spell at the Emirates Stadium, amassing just 954 minutes of action across all competitions and only four Premier League starts, despite a plethora of injuries in north London.
As a result, Arsenal aren’t expected to sign Sterling on a permanent deal this summer, with the 30-year-old set to return to Chelsea instead.
Although the Blues have struggled for goals over the past few months, Sterling will not work his way back into the first-team fold at Stamford Bridge, however, and Maresca’s side are eager to finalise a sale.

That is according to The Athletic, who have revealed that Chelsea have blocked two transfer options for Sterling. They don’t believe another loan move would be beneficial for the winger, while they also have no plans to pay off the remainder of his contract.
Sterling will have two years left on his current deal with the Blues when the 2025 summer transfer window opens, and the club are therefore hoping to work with his representatives to find him a new permanent home.

Raheem Sterling to leave Chelsea this summer
Saudi Arabia has been touted as a potential destination for Sterling this year, although Chelsea believe they may be able to agree a deal with a team in Europe, despite the 30-year-old’s lofty salary demands.
Sterling had been tipped to join Arsenal on a permanent deal following the conclusion of his loan spell, but he has fallen out of favour under Arteta and the Gunners are now extremely unlikely to submit an offer to Chelsea.
