Juventus has slashed the asking price for striker Dusan Vlahovic, prompting a deluge of interest from the Premier League.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle have all been put on alert amid reports from TBR Football that the Serbia international forward has been put up for sale by the Bianconeri at a bargain price.

During the January transfer window, Arsenal sounded out a move for the 25-year-old but talks broke down over a loan deal, with Juventus insistent that they would only accept a cash offer for the player.

Now the Italian side has been pushed into a corner. Vlahovic is out of contract in 2026 and will not sign a new contract with Juventus unless they match his current €12 million-per-year agreement – a possibility that seems distant in the current climate.

It is claimed that Juve have cut their asking price for the Serbia international to just €30 million.

Vlahovic has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €49m and was signed by Juve from Fiorentina in January 2021 for a massive €83.5m as they fought off interest from the Gunners in the striker.

Now there is a renewed battle in the Premier League for the striker, with no fewer than six giants all tracking the situation of the hitman. Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle are all keeping tabs on the situation, doubtless aware of the potential bargain that he represents.

Dusan Vlahovic: Cause for concern

Vlahovic comes with a couple of serious drawbacks, however.

He has been relegated to the Juventus bench in recent weeks, while his contribution of one goal every 164 minutes, though not catastrophic by any stretch, struggles to justify his overall contribution.

This is particularly in light of the fact that he is Serie A’s best-paid player.

These two factors combined have led to Juventus not only putting him on the transfer market, but doing so at a significantly reduced price.

Any Premier League side willing to take a punt on him in the summer should be wary of the situation Vlahovic currently finds himself in.
