Liverpool given Alexander Isak hope as €120m offer submitted

Liverpool have been handed an unexpected boost in their pursuit of Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak.
The Sweden international has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal over the past 12 months, however Liverpool have reportedly joined the race for his signature as Arne Slot searches for a new centre forward ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Reds are expected to sell Darwin Nunez later this year, amid interest from several Saudi Pro League clubs, and reports have speculated they are hoping to bring Isak to Anfield as his replacement.

The 25-year-old is set to cost at least €180 million, however, with Newcastle expected to demand a huge transfer fee in their bid to retain his services until at least next summer.
Despite this, Liverpool may be able to raise the funds to sign Isak by selling both Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Although the Hungary star has been a key player for Liverpool this campaign, they have received a monumental €120m offer for his services from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, according to a bombshell report from Fichajes.

Al-Hilal want Dominik Szoboszlai
The departure of Neymar during the January transfer window has freed up a significant pool of money and Al-Hilal are reportedly eager to sign Szoboszlai this summer.
The Hungary midfielder has started 21 of Liverpool’s 27 Premier League matches so far this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists in the competition, and he has established himself as an integral member of Slot’s first-team squad at Anfield.
However, Al-Hilal are determined to sign the 24-year-old and Liverpool could potentially be tempted into a sale if they decide to seriously pursue a summer move for Isak.
Szoboszlai has over three years remaining on his current contract at Liverpool, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at just shy of €70m.
