Liverpool 'expected to sign' €70m Van Dijk replacement

Liverpool will sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi this summer, according to a report.
The Reds are looking for defensive reinforcements. Liverpool want to add at least one centre-back in the upcoming window, while the right and left-back positions could also be strengthened.
Dean Huijsen has emerged as one of the most intriguing centre-back targets for the Anfield club, but his impressive performances for Bournemouth have also put him on the map for other top European clubs.
The Dutch-born Spain international is far from the only target Liverpool have on their shortlist and it even appears as though they are ready to move on from the precocious teenager.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool have already decided who their next star defender should be.

Liverpool to sign Guehi
The report sensationally claims that Liverpool are 'set to sign' Marc Guehi and that a summer deal is 'expected to be struck' with Crystal Palace. The England international was the subject of bids worth around €70 million from Newcastle last summer.
The outlet does not state how much Liverpool will have to pay for the 24-year-old, but given that he is out of contract next year, he may be a fair bit cheaper than last year. Newcastle, it is claimed, have already been made aware of the fact that they will miss out on Guehi.
The Palace star could be a direct replacement for captain Virgil van Dijk, who sent Liverpool fans into meltdown after his side's Champions League exit against PSG earlier this week.
Van Dijk, who is on an expiring contract, was seen chatting with PSG bosses Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Luis Campos. He later claimed that he had 'no idea' if he would extend his deal and that any reports of a tendency to stay were flat-out lies.
