Andre Onana to leave Man Utd in Chelsea goalkeeper deal

Chelsea could inadvertently help Manchester United offload Andre Onana this summer.
Onana, 28, has struggled since his €50.2 million move to Old Trafford in 2023 and Ruben Amorim is reportedly eager to sell him following several high-profile mistakes so far this season.

In addition to Man Utd, Chelsea are also in the market for a new goalkeeper, following the woes of Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen this campaign, and they have identified AC Milan superstar Mike Maignan as a key target, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Djordje Petrovic has enjoyed a successful loan stint at Strasbourg, and will return to Stamford Bridge this summer, but Chelsea are reportedly set to challenge Aston Villa for Maignan’s signature once the 2024-25 season concludes.
The 29-year-old’s current contract at Milan is set to expire in 2026 and the Serie A giants are therefore open to a sale if they receive an offer worth €40 million.
