Arsenal or Man Utd? Romano CONFIRMS €80m Ekitike transfer

Hugo Ekitike will be playing in the Premier League next season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Eintracht Frankfurt striker is enjoying a marvellous season even after the departure of his partner in crime, Omar Marmoush. Ekitike has netted an impressive 19 goals and provided eight assists so far this term.

The 22-year-old has managed to revive his career after an ill-fated stint at PSG and is putting his name on the map. His similarities to Alexander Isak - his lanky stature, speed and excellent technical ability - are increasingly making him a sought-after commodity and a potentially cheaper alternative.
Indeed, FootballTransfers has reported that Newcastle view Ekitike as an ideal replacement for the Swedish sharpshooter, who is fielding interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.
Funnily enough, both have also been linked with Ekitike, while Man Utd are among his suitors as well. The latter could appeal to him as he is a boyhood supporter of the club, but they will struggle to meet Eintracht's €80 million asking price.

Ekitike heading to England
Frankfurt, for their part, fully expect the Frenchman to depart the club in the summer, although it remains to be seen if anyone will be willing to shell out €80m for him. He currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €42.3m.
Whatever the case, it is clear that Ekitike has a market in England. In fact, it is very likely that he will end up in the Premier League this summer, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

"I expect Ekitike to play in [the] Premier League next season, I said that 10 days ago and keep insisting as this is the feeling in the industry," Romano told GIVEMESPORT. "There are contacts already, but from several clubs; [it is] too early to indicate a favourite."
With Frankfurt teammate Hugo Larsson also attracting Premier League attention, it could prove to be another very lucrative summer window for the Bundesliga side, who have made a habit of flipping players for a massive profit.
