Could Yildiz leave Juventus

Juventus are not planning to sell Yildiz this summer.

The Bianconeri consider the 19-year-old as one of the cornerstones from which to build a successful Juventus squad from.

Yildiz himself wants to win major trophies in Turin, something that won’t happen this year with Juve out of all tournaments in the European season.

While Juve value Yildiz at €100m, their head would only be turned in the event of a ludicrous offer.

Juventus failing to qualify for the Champions League - which is a distinct possibility - would affect the club badly financially.

They would lose at least €65m in revenue and would need to sacrifice at least one - maybe two - stars.

Yildiz is not one of these, though. Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Luiz are much higher on the list of names who could be sold.

Furthermore, Exor CEO John Elkann has made it clear he is ready to sign in a €110m capital increase to offset the money lost from any Champions League failure.

So the future for Yildiz right now seems to be in Turin, even if he will miss the next two games for a stupid red card against Monza on Sunday.

Yildiz at Juventus

Kenan Yildiz emerged in 2024 as one of the most exciting young talents at Juventus in years.

The teenager had long been tipped to become a superstar. Juve beat Barcelona to his signature as a 16-year-old in the summer of 2022 when his contract at Bayern Munich expired.

At the time this was considered as a huge coup for a player seen as one of the best in the world at his age group.

Yildiz initially played with Juventus’ Under-19s and Next Gen team in Serie C, but broke into the first team setup midway through last season.

He has had a number of standout performances so far this season, despite Juve's struggles, particularly in the early Champions League wins over Man City and PSV, as well as in the 4-4 draw with champions Inter when he scored twice.

In total, Yildiz has scored eight goals and delivered five assists in 46 games this season.

Yildiz has already been compared to Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, who was his idol as a kid.

Like the 2006 World Cup winner, Yildiz loves to cut in from the left and boasts wonderful control, technique and the ability to beat a man and unleash a shot in on goal.

He even celebrates in the same way as Del Piero did, sticking out his tongue when he scores. The pair have developed something of a bromance together.

Yildiz has been capped 17 times by Tukey, scoring two goals and playing at Euro 2024.
