Arsenal prepare €150m offer for GAME-CHANGING signing

Arsenal are prepared to pay €150 million to sign Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez this summer, according to a bombshell report in Spain.
Mikel Arteta has confirmed that his side are set for a “big” summer transfer window, following the appointment of Andrea Berta as their new sporting director, and Lautaro has reportedly emerged as a key target for the north London giants.

The Argentina international has scored 18 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions so far this season and Arsenal have rekindled their interest in him following rumours of a move to the Emirates Stadium on multiple occasions over the past few years.
That is according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, who claim that Arsenal are preparing a €150m bid for the 27-year-old - a figure that far exceeds his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €99m.
However, Lautaro signed a new contract with Inter last summer and his current deal now runs until 2029, meaning an exit seems fairly unlikely.

Arsenal to sign a new striker
Although Arsenal are still expected to sign a new centre forward this summer, the form of Mikel Merino could potentially make Arteta think twice about spending a vast sum of money on a striker.
The Spain international has filled in as a makeshift number nine since February and he has scored six goals in nine games as a striker, including a sweeping finish against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night.
However, while Merino has impressed since his position change, Arsenal are likely to bolster their first-team squad with an out-and-out striker this summer.
Lautaro is reportedly on the Gunners’ radar, amid his consistent form at Inter, although Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak appear to be more likely candidates to move to the Emirates Stadium ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
