Chelsea fans on RED ALERT as Cole Palmer issues worrying message

A number of Chelsea fans believe that Cole Palmer is no longer enjoying his football under Enzo Maresca following his latest social media activity.
The England international is without a goal in his last 14 matches in all competitions, by far the longest drought of his Chelsea career, while he has also only registered three assists since 6 October.

The 22-year-old’s dip in form has coincided with Chelsea’s recent slump and the Blues now face an uphill battle to secure Champions League qualification after back-to-back draws against Brentford and Ipswich Town.
Palmer has looked a shadow of his former self in recent months and he is certainly not performing at the consistent level he displayed during an immense year in 2024.
Several Chelsea fans believe the Englishman’s recent woes are due to Maresca’s restrictive style of play and many are of the opinion that Palmer himself is also displeased by the Italian’s system.
In fact, a number of Blues supporters believe that Palmer has fuelled rumours of a feud with Maresca thanks to his latest social media activity.

Cole Palmer issues dig at Enzo Maresca?
The England star reposted a video of his immense goal against Everton last year, a game in which he scored four times, and he captioned his Instagram Story with the word “enjoyment,” accompanied by a smiling face emoji.
Although Palmer may simply have been referencing the “enjoyment” he felt at scoring the goal, several Chelsea fans have taken to X to claim that Palmer has used the video to issue a dig at Maresca and the lack of freedom he is currently being given by the Blues boss.
One fan posted: “Cole Palmer just dropped a HUGE message with that post. He clearly thrived and loved playing under Pochettino, who brought out the best in him and helped him become one of the top players in the world.
“But with Maresca, that joy seems to be fading more and more each day.”
While another added: “Cole Palmer saying "enjoyment" for a game he played under Poch speaks a lot. Cole Palmer might opt out eventually under this coach that has drained every joy in our game since December.”
Palmer is unlikely to leave Chelsea anytime soon, given his current contract isn’t due to expire until 2033, but Maresca needs to help the England star get back to his best soon, otherwise there’s a chance he could find himself out of a job this summer.
