REVEALED: Chelsea’s SECRET Cole Palmer transfer plan amid Liverpool and Man Utd links

Cole Palmer has been the subject of surprise transfer speculation in recent weeks, with the Chelsea ace linked with both Liverpool and Manchester United for what would be a blockbuster move.
Palmer has struggled for form in recent times, with Blues boss Enzo Maresca dismissing the issue as mental for the England international star.

Over his last 19 matches, he has failed to score and has just one assist – a run that continued during Saturday’s clash against Everton, a match in which he started in his customary No.10 role.
Despite this, he remains a fundamental member of the Chelsea squad and any deal for him would come as a huge surprise.
His importance is underlined by the fact that he is the Stamford Bridge side’s most valuable player, with an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of a massive €117.5 million.

Chelsea to use Palmer as Delap bait
But rather than selling Palmer, Chelsea hope to use him to attract Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap to the club.
“Chelsea have absolutely no intention of letting Palmer go,” Graham Bailey told TBR Football.
“They don’t feel he’s a million miles away and he’s aware of that.

“Even with the likes of Kendry Paez and Willian Estevao set to arrive at Chelsea, Palmer knows he needs to step up and his people say he’s ready to do so.
“Chelsea will be active in terms of outgoings but Palmer isn’t one of those who’ll be cast aside.
“Indeed, people at Chelsea feel he could play a part in attracting Liam Delap, they know each other well from their time together at Manchester City and that can only help.”
Chelsea are thought to be leading the way to sign Delap, and it appears they believe Palmer could be their secret weapon to ensure the former Man City academy star does not go to Man Utd.
