Chelsea 'present career plan' as Alexander Isak talks heat up

Chelsea have reportedly “presented a career plan” to Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha amid significant competition for his signature ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window.
The Netherlands U21 international has enjoyed a sublime season in Ligue 1 and his form has attracted serious interest from multiple clubs across Europe, including several in the Premier League.

Chelsea, who share the same owners as Strasbourg, are among the teams eager to land Emegha this summer, while Newcastle United have identified him as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak - who continues to be linked with an exit as Arsenal and Liverpool engage in talks over a possible summer deal.
That is according to L’Equipe, who claim that Chelsea have presented Emegha with a career plan in recent weeks as they look to tempt him into a Stamford Bridge switch.
Enzo Maresca’s side are actively chasing a new centre forward ahead of the upcoming summer window and they have reportedly added Emegha to a transfer shortlist that already includes the likes of Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko.
The 22-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 25 league appearances so far this season, and L’Equipe report that despite interest from Chelsea, he is open to joining Newcastle if Isak departs St James’ Park this summer.

Chelsea and Strasbourg to conduct transfer business?
Although Chelsea are interested in signing Emegha this summer, they may be unable to sign him if they qualify for the same European competition as Strasbourg.
Both clubs are able to secure qualification for the Champions League, the Europa League or the Europa Conference League before the end of the campaign, although that could ruin BlueCo’s summer transfer plans.
If Chelsea and Strasbourg both qualify for the same competition, UEFA are likely to permit their entry, but they could be informed that no players will be allowed to be transferred between the two clubs this summer.
As a result, Chelsea midfielder Mathis Amogou would be denied a loan move to Strasbourg, despite the fact he is widely expected to join the Ligue 1 outfit on a season-long deal, and Emegha would be blocked from moving in the opposite direction.
During their time as sister clubs, Chelsea have sent Andrey Santos, Caleb Wiley, Djordje Petrovic and Angelo Gabriel on loan to Strasbourg, while Diego Moreira has joined the French side on a permanent deal.
