Chelsea get prolific striker update as PSG eye ‘DREAM’ BlueCo raid

Chelsea face a raid from PSG on a prolific young striker who has been tipped for Stamford Bridge success – despite the fact that he’s not even with the club yet.
Emanuel Emegha has emerged as a possible transfer option for Chelsea at the front of their attack, having shone for BlueCo-owned Strasbourg this season.
The Netherlands striker has scored an impressive 12 goals in 23 matches for Racing as they push for a shock place in next season’s Champions League, and it is this form that has seen him tipped for a move to the Premier League side.
But Paris Saint-Germain are seeking to spoil Chelsea’s plans with a raid on the 22-year-old, who head coach Luis Enrique considers to be a “dream” signing, according to Fichajes.
BlueCo in control of Emegha’s future
Clearly, the cards are all in the hands of BlueCo, and therefore Chelsea, in this deal. But unfortunately for the Premier League side, any profit accrued from the move will not go towards healing the complicated financial position of the Blues, who will only comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules thanks to the controversial sale of their women’s team.
In addition, Emegha would appear an excellent addition to Enzo Maresca’s side, if not necessarily as a front line striker currently, then as an alternative to Nico Jackson or whoever leads the line next season.
Under contract until 2028, there is no rush for Strasbourg to sell.
But PSG believe they can offer BlueCo an offer they can’t refuse. According to the report, a bid in the region of €30 million would be sufficient to get the job done.
Given that Emegha has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €24.2m, this is far from an outrageous asking price.
He is described as the “dream” of PSG head coach Luis Enrique, who is aiming to add to his already formidable attacking line in the summer.
