The France U21 international is being tracked by numerous teams on the continent, although a move to the Premier League appears to be his most likely next step.
In fact, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd have all initiated discussions with Ekitike, according to Anfield Watch.
All three clubs held talks with Ekitike’s entourage last week and they presented their plans for the Frenchman. It’s understood that talks went positively and all three clubs are set to challenge for the 22-year-old’s signature this summer.

Liverpool want to sign Hugo Ekitike
Liverpool view Ekitike as the ideal candidate to replace Darwin Nunez this summer, with the Uruguayan set to depart following the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign, and they are eager to finalise an agreement as soon as possible.
Newcastle United superstar Alexander Isak is also wanted by Arne Slot’s side, but his asking price is currently too expensive for the Reds to consider a deal.
As a result, Liverpool have identified Ekitike as a key target for the summer window, although Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly set to demand a fee of €80 million - which far exceeds his €42.3m Estimated Transfer Value (ETV).
Ekitike, who struggled for game time during his spell at Paris Saint-Germain, has scored 19 goals and provided eight assists in 39 appearances across all competitions for Eintracht Frankfurt so far this season.
In addition to Ekitike and Isak, Liverpool are also monitoring the situation of Victor Osimhen, as per Sky Sports, amid his uncertain future at Napoli.
