Liverpool to get TAKEN APART this summer as four key stars could leave

It is shaping up to be a huge summer transfer window on Merseyside, with Liverpool set to be incredibly busy in the coming months.
Arne Slot has enjoyed an impressive first season in charge of the Reds as his side have comfortably stormed to the Premier League title, which could officially be wrapped up this weekend.

Player | Club | Fee |
Giorgi Mamardashvili | Valencia | €30m |
Federico Chiesa | Juventus | €12m |
However, the season has also shone the spotlight on some glaring weaknesses in a squad Slot inherited from previous manager Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool's floundering striker options and a general lack of depth have cost them in knockout competitions.
The Anfield club refrained from splashing the cash last summer, but it is expected to be a different story this year, with Slot keen to belatedly mould the team in his image.
This means that there will also be some high-profile departures. Although Liverpool have managed to tie down Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to new deals, they have failed to do so with Trent Alexander-Arnold. Despite some recent suggestions of a late U-turn, Ben Jacobs reports that he is still expected to join Real Madrid.

Konate, Diaz and Kelleher to follow Alexander-Arnold?
Alexander-Arnold is set to be the first of potentially as many as four key players who will leave the Reds this summer, according to Jacobs. Ibrahima Konate, Luis Diaz and Caoimhin Kelleher could also depart the club.
Liverpool have been locked in contract talks with Konate for months, but there has been little progress to speak of. PSG hold a genuine interest in the Paris-born defender, and the 25-year-old himself has admitted that he would love to one day play for the French champions.

Jacobs states that there is a real chance Liverpool will engage with offers for Konate should he refuse to commit to an extension before the end of the season. Ideally, they would like to keep him, but with his contract up next year, they will not repeat their Alexander-Arnold mistake.
Diaz, meanwhile, is expected to field lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, and it is understood that Liverpool will be open to selling for the right price. His contract runs out in 2027, so they feel they can still get a sizeable fee for the winger.
Lastly, they will not stand in Kelleher's way should he express a desire for a new challenge. Alisson's more-than-capable deputy, once hailed as the best No.2 in the world by Jurgen Klopp, is likely to jump ship as last year's signing Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to arrive at Anfield.
