Man Utd and Arsenal battle in transfer for Premier League hotshot

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool will be among the sides fiercely battling it out to sign one of the Premier League’s standout performers this season.
All three giants are looking to strengthen in attack this summer, which has seen an overlap in many of each team’s targets, the latest being Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.
Berta has Arsenal in ‘POLE POSITION’ for winger after Nico Williams meeting
The Independent claim that Semenyo is ‘considering his next steps’ after a strong campaign with the Cherries, although the 25-year-old’s asking price of £50 million may prove to be a stumbling block.
Despite the interest, Semenyo is described as being ‘not at the top of the list’ for all three sides, although the Ghanian international is seen as a ‘strong option’ on the wings.
The likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa have also been linked, with Bournemouth likely to face significant interest in a number of their stars this summer.
With Semenyo still having four years remaining on his contract, Bournemouth have no incentive to sell but the player may push for an exit amid the interest.

What does the future hold for Antoine Semenyo?
Semenyo previously hinted he would be keen on a move to Arsenal, his boyhood club, however the Gunners are prioritising a move for Nico Williams on the wings.
United, meanwhile, would be intrigued by Semenyo’s pace and work rate down the flanks in Ruben Amorim’s system, though they would be unable to meet Bournemouth’s asking price as it stands.

For Liverpool, a lot will depend on the future of Mohamed Salah, with a move for Semenyo only making sense if the Egyptian leaves at the end of his contract this summer.
Semenyo may find himself priced out of an exit or perhaps lacking the pedigree to be signed by a top club, having never played in a European competition throughout his career.
The winger may find himself remaining at Bournemouth if his asking price isn’t met, particularly with the Cherries set to net nearly €100m from the projected sales of players such as Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez.
Alternatively, a deal may be brokered only if Williams’ wage demands prove too excessive for Arsenal or if Man Utd raise more funds through payer sales, indicating that Semenyo’s future might not be resolved until late in the transfer window.
