Manchester United could reportedly be set to sell both Alejandro Garnacho and Antony to Atletico Madrid during the 2025 summer transfer window.

Ruben Amorim has admitted that his side will need to offload several players before they can afford to sign reinforcements this summer, and Garnacho and Antony are among the stars tipped to depart Old Trafford on a permanent deal ahead of the new campaign.

Antony has impressed following his loan move to Real Betis in January, although Garnacho has only scored two goals in his last 30 appearances as his struggles under Amorim continue.

However, Atletico Madrid are monitoring both players and could be set to launch a double deal bid this summer, according to TBR Football.

Garnacho spent seven years in Atletico Madrid’s academy set-up before moving to Man Utd in 2022, and Diego Simeone is reportedly eager to bring him back to the Wanda Metropolitano this year.

Meanwhile, the Spanish giants have also been closely monitoring Antony since his arrival in La Liga and they are ready to enter the race for his signature after being impressed by his form at Real Betis.

The Brazilian has notched eight goal contributions in 16 games for the club and although Betis are keen to make the deal permanent this summer, they are unlikely to afford his wages or the transfer fee that Man Utd are set to demand.

Atletico Madrid will reportedly intensify their pursuit of the Man Utd pair in the coming weeks, with the Red Devils expected to ask for a €100 million fee for the duo.

Victor Osimhen to Man Utd?

If Man Utd are able to sell Garnacho and Antony for a combined fee of €100m, it could help them land top target Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian is set to leave Napoli on a permanent deal this summer, following a loan spell at Galatasaray, and Old Trafford is deemed to be one of his more likely destinations.

In addition to Garnacho and Antony, TEAMtalk state that Man Utd could also sell both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee this summer as Amorim looks to oversee a major overhaul of his attacking roster.

The Red Devils have only scored 38 goals in 32 Premier League matches so far this season, with Hojlund and Zirkzee registering just three strikes apiece in the English top flight.
