Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo this summer.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed an eye-catching season under Andoni Iraola and his form has led to significant interest from a host of top English clubs, in addition to multiple teams in Saudi Arabia.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Semenyo for several months, amid their pursuit of a new winger, but Man Utd are now considered to be the favourites to acquire his signature, as per Sky Sports.

Ruben Amorim reportedly believes the Bournemouth star would help elevate his team’s attacking potential and he already has plans to integrate the 25-year-old into his starting XI at Old Trafford.

However, Man Utd are expected to face serious competition for Semenyo during the 2025 summer transfer window, with Liverpool set to challenge for his signature, despite the fact that Mohamed Salah has extended his contract with Arne Slot’s side.

Semenyo currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €45.4 million, but Bournemouth will reportedly demand a fee of roughly €82m (£70m) as his contract with the club isn’t due to expire until 2029.

Man Utd want Antoine Semenyo

Man Utd’s pursuit of Semenyo comes following reports that Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony could all depart the club on permanent deals this summer.

The latter three wingers are all currently out on loan and are expected to be sold by Man Utd ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, while Garnacho has also been linked with an exit amid reported interest from Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Napoli.

Rashford has enjoyed a productive loan spell at Aston Villa, but he is unlikely to work his way back in Amorim’s thinking after being frozen out by the Red Devils boss in December.

With the Englishman set to depart, Man Utd are expected to pursue a move for Semenyo, who has scored 10 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
