Vlahovic-Hojlund swap offer

Thus, Calciomercato reports that the two clubs could sit down to solve their mutual problems together.

Hojlund has been put up for sale by Man Utd after another dismal season at Old Trafford.

The Dane arrived with big hopes in the summer of 2022 from Atalanta for a fee of up to €85 million.

However, he has been a big disappointment and scored just 24 goals in 86 games. This season he has just three Premier League goals.

United will upgrade him this summer and have shortlisted a host of strikers, including Liam Delap, Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko.

As for Vlahovic, he has been put up for sale for a mix of sporting and financial reasons.

Vlahovic’s contract in Turin expires in 2026 and renewal talks over a new deal have ended.

Vlahovic is the highest-paid player in Serie A on €12 million per season (which rises to €14m next season) and Juventus are not willing to continue paying him that much given both his underpar performances on the pitch and the club’s new policy of lowering the

wage ceiling.

The Serbian arrived from Fiorentina in 2022 for €80m as the hottest young striker in Europe after Erling Haaland.

However, he has never fulfilled his potential in Turin.

Hojlund is understood to welcome a return to Serie A, where he exploded with Atalanta before his move to Man Utd.

Napoli are also said to be interested in Hojlund, while Arsenal and Mikel Arteta are long-term fans of Vlahovic and tried to sign him in 2022 before he joined Juventus from Fiorentina.
