Neymar to Inter Miami: The INSANE transfer cost of a superstar BUST
Neymar is being strongly linked (again) with a summer move to MLS and Inter Miami, but it should be a case of buyer beware for David Beckham and his front office.
The 32-year-old Brazilian megastar has fallen a long way from the heights of being part of that incredible MSN forward line with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at FC Barcelona.

Neymar's incredible performances at Camp Nou saw him become the world's most expensive transfer ever when he joined PSG in 2017 for 222million Euro. A figure that may never be matched with the advent of financial regulations.
Neymar on the slide
Since then though it's been a downward trend for the South American prodigy, with his big-money move to Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League in 2023 turning into an absolute disaster.
Neymar has hardly featured since moving to the Middle East, notably due to an ACL tear and then an interrupted rehab.
The Brazilian is now threatening to play again soon, but only just in time for his Saudi contract to expire this summer.
The talk is that Inter Miami would love to reunite Neymar with Messi and Suarez, but there are a number of reasons it should not happen.
MLS salary cap implications make it highly unlikely, but recent history should also tell Beckham and his executives just not to go there under any circumstances.
The WILD cost of Neymar's Saudi 'adventure'
The staggering cost of Neymar's Saudi 'adventure' currently stands at a mind-blowing 56million Euros PER GAME. Astonishing stuff.
That is based on the fact he has featured in just five games, while costing Al-Hilal a 90million transfer fee and a two-year contract worth 100million per season.
This week the Neymar to Inter Miami rumors hit the headlines again, with Al-Hilal reportedly being keen to replace the Brazilian with Liverpool superstar Mo Salah.
Salah, like Neymar, will be out of contract this summer and has still to agree a contract extension at Anfield. A move to Saudi for the 32-year-old Egyptian would leave Neymar looking for a new club, and again MLS is seen as the likeliest option.
But for the reasons we've mentioned, it's not a place Inter Miami should go. Ever.
