Meanwhile, there are a string of other clubs, such as Everton, Southampton and Lyon waiting to pounce if he is passed over.
Williams does not believe this will be the case – and he even says that Kudus has the potential to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“Yes he can play for Barcelona or Real Madrid. I see him playing in a great club.,” Williams told Radio Marca.
“He is a bomb. A machine. He is already very complete, although there is still room for development due to his age.
“He has plenty of potential and a great margin for improvement. I think he may be a revelation.”
’Ajax are too small for Kudus’
Although Kudus was a regular in the Ajax starting XI until this season, Williams believes that the forward has already outgrown his current club.
“Ajax is starting to become too small for him,” he affirmed. “Hopefully, he will soon make the step up to a big club.
“I wish he had a Basque relative who could let him sign for Athletic Bilbao,” he concluded, referring to his side’s policy of only signing Basque players.
Kudus has scored 10 goals across three competitions for Ajax this season, having turned out for the Amsterdam club on 21 occasions. He is presently valued at €9 million by FootballTransfers but is quickly gaining value.
